About Cook and Phillip Park

In the heart of Sydney city you can work out, lap it up or you jump in the wave pool and have a ball!
Nestled between St Mary's Cathedral and the Australian Museum is Cook and Phillip Park. This public facility is a complex of state-of-the-art aquatic, fitness and recreation activities, all set in parkland.

It was designed to inspire, with artworks dedicated to Australia's first long-distance swimmer and pioneer of the one-piece bathing suit, Helen Kellerman. There are water features combined with colourful sculptures linking the pools to a large outdoor courtyard and pool deck café.

There is an eight-lane Olympic pool, a hydrotherapy pool, heated leisure pool with wave machine and rapid river run, full-size gymnasium, multi-purpose sports court with sprung timber floor, café, sports shop and adjacent car park.

Cook and Phillip Park is located across the road from the Domain Car Park. Visitors and Guests can take advantage of fantastic parking offers including:

- Weekend Parking: from $10 flat rate per day

- Night Rate Parking: $10 flat rate per night for entry after 5pm Monday to Friday until close.
